Becoming tourist in our own land

This plan was so random and very impromptu... Art, Fifi and I were having supper the other day... Me and Art were telling Fifi that we'll be buying my Iphone (yes, i've finally bought myself a new phone) this Sat. Other than getting the Iphone, we also planned to ride the Singapore Flyer. Pathetic kan... the opening of the Flyer was quite some time back, now then we wanna take a ride on it. Nonetheless, it's better to be late than never ~Smilez~ Nini will be joining us coz she'll be in town and she also has yet to ride on the Flyer also. So, we told Fifi to come along. This is what she replied us, "I've taken the Flyer thousands of times during my shoot, Taknakla!" But she said that she'll be free on Sat. So, we came out with this idea of bking a hotel for us to hangout. We asked Sheeta and Ira along and they agreed. The plan was ON!

After my night shift, I went back to have a short nap... At 3, Art already called me to wake me up and to meet at Bugis at 4.30pm. With a heavy heart, I have no choice but to wake up despite still being tired. When I was getting ready, the rain started pouring heavily... The more I felt lazy to go out. But hotel already bked, Iphone menanti and my frenz menunggu punye pasal, the plan muz still go on. I ended up miting Art and Nini late... I got the rain to blame, hehe... 5.30pm baru I arrived at Bugis. Since I already knew what to get, we went straight into Singtel Hello store, made few enquiries, bought the Iphone and left. We then went to the hotel.

Art made bking with Pan Pac... The hotel rm was nice, very nice... The view from our hotel rm was beautiful... overlooking the CBD area, the Flyer and the construction site of Marina Bay Sands Resorts & Casino. Once I entered the rm, rase like tak nak kluar. But I was so hungry, we just placed our things and went out again. We had our dinner at Fish & Co. Suntec. When we were abt to finish our dinner, Fifi called telling us she's otw to meet us. Sheeta also called and we told the them both to juz mit us at the Flyer... Me, Art and Nini went on the 9pm Flyer while Sheeta and Fifi waited for us at Popeye's. Actually, I am afraid of heights... so does Art. I managed to pull it thru but Art was worst... While in the cabin, Art did not even stand. She sat on the floor... I guess the 30mins ride was really a torture for Art, Haha!

When we finished the ride, Fifi and Sheeta were doing fish spa, leg reflexology... Kite ape lagi, join also. Another first time experience for me... so ticklish but the after effect - smoother legs. Ira met us here after her shift. Our tour ard Spore ended here... All of us then went back to our hotel where another whole drama begins...

Nini is in town... so took advantage of her short stay here in Spore. She'll be trying out for the SQ interview later. All the best, gf... Hope u'll achieve ur ultimate dream.

LOCKED OUT!

After 12hrs of night shift, I still had to stay back after work. My TL called for a meeting which lasted for abt another 5hrs. All-in-all I was at work from 7pm yesterday till 12 noon today, a total of abt 17hrs. That's INSANE!

On my way back home, my thoughts were all abt looking forward to lie down on my bed and sleep. As soon as I reached the doorsteps of my house, the door was locked. I rummaged thru my bag to search for my house keys. After a while, I realised that I had forgotten the keys. What the Hell! By then, I was already feeling sooooo tired. I called my sis, my brothers and my father, they were all either at school or work. Even though my mother is working nearby, I felt that I was not able to move to anywhere anymore. I decided to juz wait at the void deck for any one of my family members who return home first.

While waiting, I confided the misery that I felt at that point to a fren. We had been contacting each other for the past few days and he had been making me smile ever since. After smsing him, he actually made me felt much better. He was busy at work and so, I proceed on with reading my book. After reading few pages of the book, I lost concentration. I stopped and juz took a nap. Sitting down, under my void deck! I cud feel my head tilting from one side to another but I juz dun care coz I was feeling too tired.

The first person who got back home was my 2nd brother. That was at 3.30pm... I was so relieve to see him and as soon as I stepped into the house I juz got to pour my hearts out in here. I can now proceed with my sleep now soundly and peacefully...

Rihanna Concert

13 Nov 2008...the day Rihanna was in town to perform in her concert. The concert was held at Singapore Indoor Stadium. I went together with Ira, Hendra and Izuan. Instead of us waiting for Rihanna, Rihanna had to forgo waiting for us and performed first. Ira, Hendra and I were late! We missed the opening act and one song. Izuan who were waiting for us outside the Singapore Indoor Stadium was thinking and I quote, "I am holding 4 tickets worth of $612 and I am not inside..." Hehe.

When we arrived, we were just in time for Disturbia. I really had fun throughout the whole concert. It was all worth it... Being able to see Rihanna LIVE, listening and singing along to all her hit songs like Rehab, Live ur life, Hate that I love you, Take a bow and Umbrella, LIVE. In my opinion, her performance was POWER! I was enjoying myself and before I knew it, the concert was all over... The concert was about 1 1/2 hrs and I cudn't even feel it.

Wedding Invitations

Juz got back from a wedding invitation between Raf and Asfadly. Raf is a fren of Halijah... She became my fren coz we were bridesmaids for Halijah. After Halijah's wedding, it comes in a package. We came up with an agreement that when any1 of us got married, by default, we have to be the bridesmaids. I turned up for her wedding quite late, sori Raf. When I came, she was wearing a white gown. She looked so pretty...

Last week, was my best fren's wedding. He is my colleague and he turned out to be my best fren. He is one of the persons that can be there for me, especially during the rough times that I had lately. I became one of his pengapit. Became frens with his 2 other best men - Bob and Zamri, and the rest of his frens. I knew Bob only on that day and we we got along well. For Zamri, I've already known him. I stayed throughout and it was quite tiring but I had fun though. The wedding of Said and Zara was spectacular, full of surprises. They're really lucky to have each other, so compatible. Alhamdulillah, evryting went smoothly as planned.

Back to Team

4 mths flew by so fast... I was having a blast doing office hrs. The work timing is so regular and the best part, getting the weekends off without being disturbed.

Now, I'm back to team. Gotto start doing shift again... The workload is so much different but I'm so glad to be reunited back with my teammates. Simply LUV them. I will be taking up a new post as well coz I juz got back from course. Will take up the challenge so, bring it on!
